Ecce Homo by Evelyn Bencicova
Ecce Homo is a series of abstract, nude portraits by Slovakian photographer, Evelyn Bencicova, who is now based in Berlin. The series’ Latin title translates into the phrase ‘behold the man’, spoken byPontius Pilate when he presented a Jesus, scrounged. The phrase has now come to refer to the degradation of human life that occurs in acts of violence, which is why the models are nude and faceless, with Bencicova stating, “It can be about everyone. Anyone."

Gucci Fall 2011 Prêt-à-Porter

Giannini also sited the hippie subculture and singer, Florence Welch, as influences in respect to the closing chiffon dresses. Where most seventies-inspired fashion consists of warm, sepia tones, Gucci's fall collection made a bold statement by instead using vibrant hues.
