For Giorgio Armani's Haute Couture collection for Spring, 2011, he spoke of the gleam of gemstones serving as the inspiration. The show had a distinctive futuristic feel to it, with the slightly outlandish silhouettes and the clothing looking glimmeringly metallic, topped off by headpieces designed by the renowned Irish milliner, Philip Treacy.
