British illustrator, Kate Baylay, took on the task of creating illustrations of Karen Blixen's book Seven Gothic Tales, first published in 1934, written under the pen name, Isak Dinesen. Influenced by the golden age of illustration, Baylay's Art Nouveau style captures the book's romantically dark ambience.
