Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2011

Fo her first pre-fall collection, Sarah Burton- creative director of Alexander McQueen- created a militaristic collection. Despite the heavy use of box cuts, Burton managed to maintain a sense of femininity in her collection by making use of clinched waists, a signature look of the McQueen fashion house. The unapologetic regality of the collection truly embodied the McQueen woman.
